As fans of the bold, playful aesthetics of the 70s, they wanted to bring that retro charm back into modern homes, but with a luxurious, contemporary twist. Since then, they’ve been on an incredible journey, building a brand that’s become known for its fun, nostalgic designs and sustainable approach.
Keirra, recently the Winner of Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs to Watch by The Telegraph and NatWest, shares the importance of Stamina; remaining curious, connecting with like minded people and reflecting before stepping forward.
Whinnie hand-draws the creations you see in the designs at Poodle and Blonde. Her strong sense of styling encapsulates nostalgia, glamour, timeless design and originality. Whinnie made her presenting debut on BBC Three’s renovation show ‘Flat Out Fabulous’ helping transform rental properties and joined interior legend Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen as a guest designer on Changing Rooms. Whinnie also presented on the new BBC 3 series ‘Hire Me’, giving advice to new designers trying to break into the industry.
